feeling 42, getting iv’s, and chasing myself

It’s a wild rumpus – mostly in the best way – here  as I’m wrapping up writing my book and keeping up with school work.

I have several posts I plan to write next week – once I have my book draft over to my fabulous friend and editor, Cheryl – but this week is a fire drill.

Still, I wanted to pop in and report the BEST home birthday party for my 42nd earlier this week.

My family is amazing and I’m so grateful for another trip around the sun.

Other than birthdays, it’s been working and more working here.

Sadly, my precious Mama lost her sister to cancer earlier this week and that has been really difficult. Your prayers for my Mama are greatly appreciated.

Finally, my CRPS has been escalating a bit over the past weeks – and my specialist appointment isn’t until next month. After trying for several days, I was finally able to get in touch with my Rheumy yesterday who ordered a massive IV steroid infusion to try to break this flare. The infusion center staff was incredibly kind and worked me in within hours so I received the medication yesterday. I have never seen so many vials of Solumedrol administered in my life.

I don’t know for sure if it is going to work – but my symptoms are better today than they were so I am hopeful at least.

For now, it’s back to the writing of the books and the studying.  ❤

Next week I’ll be back to posts as usual.

Be well, everybody. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Grace and Blessings.
